1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Cookwise.ai (“Cookwise”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) websites, mobile applications, and related services (collectively, the “Services”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Services.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Services. If you are under 18, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf. By using the Services, you represent that you meet this requirement.

3. Description of Service

Cookwise provides tools to help you discover recipes, plan meals, generate shopping lists, and cook with guided assistance using store deals, pantry data, nutrition information, and other inputs. Cookwise may also provide links or deep links to third-party retailers, delivery platforms, or affiliate partners for online ordering and checkout. We do not sell groceries, act as a store, or fulfill orders ourselves.

4. Accounts and Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately if you suspect any unauthorized access or use of your account.

5. Fees and Future Premium Features

The Services are currently offered at no charge. We may introduce optional premium features or subscriptions in the future. If we do, we will clearly disclose pricing before you are charged. Unless otherwise stated, subscriptions will automatically renew at the end of each billing period until cancelled. You may cancel any future subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting support. Fees paid are generally non-refundable except where required by law.

6. Affiliate Links and Third-Party Services

The Services may include links or integrations with third-party services such as supermarkets, delivery platforms, coupon providers, affiliate networks, or payment processors. Some links within the Services are affiliate links, and Cookwise may earn a commission from qualifying purchases or actions at no additional cost to you. Cookwise is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. These third parties are not controlled by Cookwise, and we are not responsible for their content, policies, or practices. Your use of third-party services is subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

7. Drink Pairing Recommendations

The Services may suggest alcoholic and non-alcoholic drink pairings with recipes. Cookwise does not sell, distribute, or deliver alcohol. All drink recommendations are for informational and entertainment purposes only. You must be of legal drinking age in your jurisdiction to purchase or consume alcoholic beverages. Please drink responsibly.

8. User Content

You may submit or store content through the Services, such as saved recipes, notes, preferences, reviews, photos, and pantry items (“User Content”). You retain ownership of your User Content, but grant Cookwise a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, host, store, reproduce, and display your User Content as reasonably necessary to operate and improve the Services.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Services for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to access the source code of the Services except to the extent allowed by law.
• Interfere with or disrupt the security, integrity, or performance of the Services.
• Use automated scripts or scraping tools to access or collect data from the Services in a way that violates our technical controls or partner terms.
• Misrepresent your affiliation with Cookwise or use the Services to send spam or unsolicited communications.

10. Intellectual Property

Cookwise and its licensors own all rights, title, and interest in and to the Services, including all software, designs, text, graphics, logos, and trademarks, except for User Content and third-party content. Except as expressly permitted, you may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of the Services.

11. No Warranty

The Services are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, including accuracy of data, recipe results, grocery prices, or store deal availability.

12. Limitation of Liability

Cookwise will not be liable for any damages arising from your use of the Services, including financial loss, inaccurate recommendations, or inability to access the platform.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
